I tried 2 non-tumbling composters before this: earth machine and biostack. The tumbling type is much more effective. This unit is easy to turn. It can be mounted on a wall. The insulated walls really keep it hot and steaming. 2 compartments allow one side to mature, while the other side it being filled. It does drip liquid, so you will need to keep that in mind when placing it. Solidly built and should last years. I would buy this again and recommend it to my friends. Costs more to buy than the others; but the others didn't work well so I stopped using them. I wish I had bought this one first.
